Today was a glorious day. During our church service, Melinda went down to the front of our church, Lakeview Baptist Church, and sat in a chair and I stood behind her. Then one by one each deacon came up and prayed over Melinda. After the last deacon had prayed Pastor Bob asked if anyone in the church would like to come up and lay hands on Melinda and pray to do so now. I can not tell you how many came as my eyes were closed and full of tears, but the number of hands I felt and the number of prayers being lifted up seemed like hundreds to me. Our Lakeview Family has been a true blessing to us.
I used to think you don’t need a community to grow in the LORD, but I was wrong. You need a local family of believers to be with you in good times and bad. If you don’t have a local church we would love for you to join us a Lakeview Baptist Church.
