Melinda’s appointments went great today. She got her stitches removed. She has a follow up in six weeks to verify everything is still good from the surgery aspect. The nurse said as fast as her hair is growing they might not even see the scare in six weeks.
Oncology went even better. He said she is doing great. They have her scheduled for scans tomorrow and if all goes as planned she may start treatment next Monday or Tuesday. She will have chemo and radiation treatments for six weeks M to F and then follow up with chemo for a few months after that. He was extremely positive that based on the way Melinda has progressed so far that she should be back to her normal life very soon.
