7 For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. 8 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
Romans 14:7-8 (NKJV)
This week has been a whirlwind. We received a call around 10 AM Monday morning that the Radiologist wanted to see Melinda at 3:30 at their Kyle location. We were excited that they could work us in so quick; not so excited about driving to Kyle, but we made it work. It was a short visit. The Radiologist talked to us about using a Cyberknife machine to treat the new spot. He also wants us to revisit with Oncology about Chemo, but in the meantime plans to move forward with treatment. The treatment schedule discussed was a new high-resolution scan then five treatments every other day for about 50 minutes each using the Cyberknife. I believe this YouTube video explains what the Cyberknife is and is probably the one that Melinda will be treated with.
Please pray that insurance approves all the procedures/treatments and that the high-resolution scan will show no cancer spot at all.
