2 Corinthians 1:8-11 8 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters,[a] about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11 as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.
Praise Jesus, they have released Melinda to go home. It will take a little while for all the paperwork to go through but she should be home this evening. We are praying she can get a good night’s sleep.
One day we will know why God allowed this to happen, but I suspect it is his way of using Melinda to show his power to others. In her short time here she has already touched so many. Most can’t believe that she is has recovered as fast as she has. There was even one nurse that told her I believe in science and scientifically you should not be getting out of bed and walking around already. She then asked Medlinda about her beliefs in Jesus. I truly believe God has used her to plant many seeds for Jesus in her short time here at Dell Seton.
I also want to say thank you to all the people at Dell Seton that have helped with Melinda’s care. They have all been wonderful.
God Bless you and you family
