LORD Jesus,
My heart aches at what I see going on in our world. There is so much hate. The devil is no longer in the shadows. He parades up and down the streets of our country. Our President gets sick and Satan’s children scream out on social media for him to die. If only they would come to know you before it is too late. I pray that they will let the Holy Spirit open their eyes and fill their hearts with love for YOU and the FATHER.
Emmanuel, as I look at the picture of Brian embracing Megan. I cry. It is pure love like the love you have for us. It sickens me when I think of Satan’s children rejoicing over the killing of babies in the womb and now in some places killing them as they leave the womb. I know, LORD, it is just another sign of your return and another example of the sick mind of Satan and his followers.
Jesus, please look after Melinda. YOU know why the right side of her body has almost ceased to function. YOU know the struggles we have assisting her. We ask for strength as we continue to do our best to meet her needs day-to-day. I do want to thank you, LORD, that she can still laugh in the middle of all this.
Messiah, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. We pray that just as you covered a multitude of sins, you help us to bring sinners to YOU before YOU return.
Thank you, LORD, that Brian, Megan, and I still have jobs, a roof over our heads, and food to eat. Thank you that our vehicles continue to run. Please continue to protect them from breaking down. We lift up those to you, Almighty GOD, that have lost their jobs, that have lost their home, and especially those that are struggling to find food. We ask you to protect our country and Israel. We lift up all those with COVID-19, including our President and First Lady. We ask you to guide our politicians both locally and nationally, so your will will be done.
Light of the World, I do not what will happen over the next few weeks, but we ask you for your protection, comfort, and guidance throughout these times.

- Recognizing that the only way to GOD is through Jesus. (John 14:6) “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
- Repenting of your sins. (Acts 3:19) “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord”
- Receiving Jesus as your Savior. (Romans 10:9-10) “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
- Although definitely not a requirement of salvation, once you make the decision to follow Christ, I would highly recommend getting involved with a local group of believers and getting baptized to show the world that Jesus is your LORD and Savior.
