For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
Sorry, I’ve been a little behind on posting an update. Last Wednesday, Melinda passed the ½ way point and after tomorrow she is down to single digits for treatments. She has been having a lot of nausea. They have tried a few different things, but she is still struggling with it. Melinda is holding a visualization countdown I made for her. I told her each day to visualize cancer dying away until day zero when she will be cancer free.
In other news, our son got his Aggie Ring last Friday. We are very proud of all he has accomplished in two years at TAMU. We were shocked to learn that he now plans to graduate in May and start his Masters next fall. We are praying that God’s plan for him will be fulfilled. Our daughter has transitioned well from high school to college. Her classes are going well and she was selected to be a member of the Business Student Counsel at Mays Business School. FYI – Melinda went to Mays and was a member of the Business Student Counsel and now both kids are at Mays and members of the Business Student Counsel. They are following in their mother’s footsteps minus the Marketing degree.
As for me, I am doing much better than my last posting. I can recount the times in my life that God has spoken to me and this weekend would be one of those times. He simple said, “IT WILL BE OKAY”. Those words have given me peace. I know God has plan; I don’t know what the future holds, but whatever it looks like it will all be okay. If you have never asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, don’t wait, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” – Matthew 24:36
We appreciate all the prayers and support.
