16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV)
This week has been much better for Melinda. As of Thursday, she has not had to take any pain medication. Her stomach still hurts but seems to be improving every hour. She is starting to eat a little but is still really weak. She is getting stronger each day.
We continue to pray that her health persistently improves. As 1 John 5:19, tells us this world is under the control of the evil one, so we continue to pray for our country that seems to be moving farther away from God. We pray for all the staff and students that are starting a new school year.
SIDE NOTE: It is nice to see Melinda not having to deal with all the stress of getting the technology ready for a new school year. The last few summers were really hard on her and her health.
We pray for the unsaved. We pray for the missionaries that go out to spread the Gospel. We pray that people will open their eyes and hearts to the killing of unborn children. We pray for our church. We pray for our family. We pray for YOU.
And most importantly, we pray that “GODS will be DONE” in all things.
