1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.
Romans 13:1-4
It was great to get to spend some time with Melinda today. She got up and wanted to get out of the house. I said well let’s go vote. We made it down to the Bell County Annex. It was like a ghost town. It still amazes me that so many people do not get out and Vote. Many individuals around the world do not even have the right to vote. In my opinion, American is still one of the greatest places in the world to live in because we have that right. I will avoid expressing my political views and just encourage you to GO VOTE.
Melinda has been getting a little better each day. Her hand and arm have been hurting her, so her mom suggested putting it in a sling to remind her not to use it as much. It seems to be helping. Overall, we are just taking it one day at a time. The past week was tough as I had to travel a lot and Melinda stayed with her parents. She loved the time with them but missed her bed. We are praying we both feel well enough tomorrow to make it to Bible Study and Church.
We appreciate all the prayers and concerns. We continue to pray for our country, all those battling Cancers, and the salvation of the lost. If you are lost and don’t know Jesus, we would love to tell you all about him.
